Charlotte Retail Center Lands Target
The CrossRidge Center is expected to include 270,000 square feet of retail space along US 521 and Dobys Bridge Road. The developers are expecting to spend $150 million on the retail component of The Exchange at Indian Land.
Target has taken 147,000 square feet, with plans for its latest prototype, product assortment and amenity package.
Target’s building is expected to deliver by early 2026. The Charlotte Business Journal reports three junior box spaces have been added after landing the retailer.
The center will have an amphitheater, walking trails, splash pads and an open grass area.
JLL is in charge of leasing. There are approximately 30 tenant spaces at the development — not including Target or outparcels. That includes 8 to 10 restaurants.
Perkins Eastman is the architect on the project. ESP Engineering is overseeing civil engineering, while Edifice is the general contractor.
