Two Nashville Gulch Hotel Ventures Show Promise
Two hotel project have been working their way through Nashville’s Metro Development and Housing Agency Design Review Committee. The 9 Group is moving forward on a hotel development at The Gulch. The 9 Group paid $6.9 million for a one acre parcel in 2016. The address is 602 Ninth Ave. S.
The Nashville Post reports The 9 Group envisions a 17-story building of about 185 feet. A brand has not been identified yet. Atlanta-based Elevate Architecture Studio is handling design.
Another Gulch-area project seems to be moving forward as well. The MDHA Design Review Committee approved plans for a 16-story hotel at 1213 Grundy St (photo).
New York-based Tidal Real Estate Partners is leading the project, slated for 114 extended stay units, 168 timeshare units and 14,532 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space. The hotel will sit on a portion of the site Tidal purchased for $29.25 million in 2021.
