<p data-beyondwords-marker="63e60238-1e21-48dc-af30-122e306dc4fb">Israeli tech firm WalkMe Inc. is moving its U.S. headquarters to Kilroy Realty’s 350 Mission St. as it prepares to be acquired by software giant SAP, reported the <em>San Francisco Business Journal</em>. The digital adoption software provider, whose tools help guide users and employees through apps, signed on to sublease close to 18,000 square feet on the 26th floor of 350 Mission St. from Salesforce, sources told the <em>Business Journal</em>. WalkMe previously leased roughly 40,000 square feet at 71 Stevenson St.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="06b89d81-ccc1-4b98-a133-157a70c18fe8">The company’s lease at 71 Stevenson was set to expire in July. Although WalkMe is expected to take occupancy at 350 Mission this fall, it already lists 350 Mission as its headquarters on its website. It’s the latest to sublease Salesforce space at the 455,350-square-foot office property, which Salesforce once occupied in its entirety.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="bf1d5bc6-64e8-4104-b5ee-756c412df1f1">Cushman &amp; Wakefield’s Sam Wasserstein, JD Lumpkin and Danny Pickard are listing Salesforce’s space at 350 Mission. JLL’s Mike Sample represented WalkMe in the deal.</p>

<p data-beyondwords-marker="c9f0f00c-5026-4ac1-9706-766157039f67">Payment company Stripe has signed a sublease agreement with insurance giant AIG for 147,000 square feet at 28 Liberty, the 60-story tower in the Financial District. Stripe’s new space will span the 45th through 48th floors of the building, previously known as One Chase Manhattan Plaza. </p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="8b075b7f-b475-4a05-bb30-cd39797c60ef">This move marks a relocation and expansion for Stripe from its current 125,000-square-foot office at 199 Water Street, owned by Jack Resnick &amp; Sons. AIG, which consolidated its New York City space into 220,000 square feet at 28 Liberty in the summer of 2020, had not formally put the sublease space on the market. </p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="51d9b65b-f08b-4051-8301-fdf263a74b31">AIG was represented by JLL’s Peter Riguardi, Joe Messina, Mike Shenot, and Andrew Coe, while Stripe was represented by CBRE’s Sacha Zarba, Jeff Fischer, and Joe D’Apice. </p>

<p data-beyondwords-marker="31b3a833-1ca7-4fc6-b792-8f690492719a">Online food ordering company <a href="https://www.grubhub.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Grubhub</a> will move its headquarters to the Merchandise Mart and follow the ongoing trend of downsizing its office footprint along the way. </p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="76a87f4e-e1fb-4b44-baf8-0849729593fb">Grubhub will shrink its downtown office footprint by about 45 percent, finalizing a deal to sublease roughly 90,000 square feet from <a href="https://about.pypl.com/about-us/default.aspx" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">PayPal</a>, <a href="https://www.chicagobusiness.com/commercial-real-estate/grubhub-moving-hq-merchandise-mart" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">reported</a> <em>Crain’s</em>. If the deal is completed, Grubhub will relocate its main office from the Burnham Center at 111 W. Washington Street, where the company currently leases approximately 164,000 square feet.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="4a7e51e8-9bac-47c0-b158-3008ad912a34">The sublease follows Grubhub’s efforts to cut costs and recover its market share. In June of last year, the company <strong>laid off 400 employees or about 15 percent of its workforc</strong><strong>e</strong>. In 2021, Grubhub was acquired for $7.3 billion by Just Eat Takeaway, a rival company based in Amsterdam. </p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="30ecf77e-a494-4d4b-bdc3-efc3d635ade8">The Mart’s owner, <a href="https://www.vno.com/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vornado</a>, has embarked on an ambitious <strong>$40 million renovation</strong> of the landmark site, including revitalizations to the South Lobby and River Park. <strong>JLL was tapped</strong> to provide property management services for the updated property by Vornado.</p>
