Northside Hospital purchased Glenridge Point, a 184,912-square-foot office complex in Sandy Springs, Ga. Richmond Honan Development & Acquisitions sold the two-building property for $14.2 million.

Commercial Edge reports the office complex was last traded in 2018 when Richmond Honan acquired it for $44.5 million in a portfolio transaction from Pope & Land Enterprises. Located at 100 and 200 Glenridge Point Parkway, the property is at the intersection of Interstate 285 and Georgia Highway 400. The office complex is near the Pill Hill medical hub and some 14 miles from downtown Atlanta.

Completed in 1970 on 3.6 acres, the five-story Glenridge Point underwent renovations between 1999 and 2016. Its amenities include an outdoor space with seating and EV parking spots. 

The tenant roster includes eVestment and Keller Williams Realty First Atlanta.

Amgen announced a $1 billion expansion to establish a second drug substance manufacturing facility in North Carolina. This brings the company’s total planned investment in Holly Springs to more than $1.5 billion, building on its previously announced $550 million commitment.

The $1 billion facility will incorporate cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices. In tandem with the existing facility, these investments will create 370 new jobs in the region, supporting the area’s biomanufacturing hub.

North Carolina’s Economic Investment Committee approved a Job Development Investment Grant that will reimburse Amgen up to $4.9 million yearly across the grant’s 12-year duration. The project is expected to grow the state’s economy by $3.6 billion throughout that period. When fully operational, more than 720 jobs will be generated across both facilities. Construction began in March 2022, and that plant will be operational in 2026.

The firm owns nearly 109 acres at 4130 Friendship Road, and the two plants are slated for delivery there.

Vista Residential Partners has broken ground on 11.7 acres on the corner of N. Main Street and Holly Springs Road in Holly Springs, NC, for the development of Main Street Vista, a 277-unit mixed-use community. Public records show that Western-Southern Life Assurance Co. originated a $53.7 million construction loan for this development.

Located in the heart of Holly Springs, Main Street Vista is a mixed-use development with 19,000 square feet of vertically integrated retail space and 11,000 square feet of live-work space that will be within walking distance of downtown Holly Springs.

The community will offer a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes averaging almost 1,050 square feet. Select units will also have ground-floor office space available for lease to prospective tenants who desire to work from home. Main Street Vista will also feature a luxury clubhouse, resort-style swimming pool, fitness center, large central green area and pet park, 24/7 package concierge, and more.

EDENS, owner and developer of over 100 open-air retail and mixed-use shopping centers, has unloaded Fountain Oaks in Sandy Springs. Jamestown, the buyer, paid $48 million for the 160,000-square-foot center, which is anchored by a Krogers supermarket.

Fountain Oaks is 98% leased by 38 tenants. The center was built in 1988 and renovated in 2003.

The Fountain Oaks deal is another venture into Sandy Springs for Jamestown. The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports In 2018, Jamestown paid $94 million for the Exchange at Hammond and Parkside Shops shopping centers. In addition to Ponce City Market, Jamestown owns Westside Provisions District and Buckhead Village.
