Scout Living is now accepting guests at Atlanta’s Ponce City Market. The project features 405 one- and two-bedroom fully furnished and serviced living units from a single night to a week, a month, or longer, starting in September. Scout Living at Ponce City Market will be powered by Placemakr, a flex-living operator which optimizes both apartment and hospitality uses for their partners. Placemakr partnered with Jamestown on the project, which is at 675 Ponce de Leon Ave. NE.

The one—and two-bedroom living units will feature galley kitchens, and separate living and sleeping spaces. Each fully furnished unit will offer a kitchen stocked with cooking essentials, a dishwasher, and a washer-dryer combo.

Guests will be able to request laundry and dry-cleaning services, restocking of necessities for longer stays, housekeeping, and more.

Amenities include a rooftop pool, wellness studio, terrace, reservable entertaining spaces, and a residential-style chef’s kitchen—all with expansive views of the city. 

The second floor will be a place for guests to work. The space will be open daily and available for bookings for meetings, screenings, corporate offsites, specialty workspaces, private dinners, and special events.

Jamestown has delivered 619 Ponce, a 115,000-square-foot Class A office building in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward.

The development is part of the second phase of the Ponce City Market adaptive reuse project at 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, which opened in 2015. Much of the project was built on the site of what was once a Sears location that was bought in 2011 for $27 million. Additional plans for the project’s second phase include Scout Living and Signal House, both multifamily projects.

The four-story 619 Ponce is Atlanta’s first office building to be made entirely of locally sourced mass timber, all lumbered from Jamestown-owned forests located around Columbus, Ga. Construction was done on-site by JE Dunn and StructureCraft. Designed by Handel Architects, 619 Ponce includes outdoor space, a rooftop courtyard, with spaces featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with moveable panels.

Jamestown is developing a new concept that will feature 405 fully furnished one or two bedroom units with a stocked kitchen and a number of other services at the guest’s fingertips. Scout Living will debut at Atlanta’s Ponce City Market in 2024, with future iterations intended across Jamestown’s global portfolio. 

Scout Living was created for consumers who want greater flexibility in living, working, and traveling. Guests can request laundry and dry-cleaning services, restocking necessities for longer stays, housekeeping, and more.

A 12,000 square foot retail component will be occupied by a food and beverage concept and convenience shopping providing essential grab-and-go items.

Scout Living is part of Ponce City Market’s second phase, which also includes 619 Ponce, a four-story mass timber loft office building set for completion in 2024, and Signal House, a new residential building. Ponce City Market first opened its doors in 2015.
