CBRE has arranged the sale of Post House, a 159-unit multifamily property in Evansville, Indiana. Prosperity Commercial Real Estate purchased the property from Scannell Properties for an undisclosed amount.

CBRE’s Hannah Ott, George Tikijian, Cam Benz, Claire Bullard and Ryan Stockamp represented the seller in the transaction.

Post House is located at 215 Vine St., proximate to the Ohio River Scenic Byway and several riverfront restaurants, retail centers and entertainment venues. Built in 2020, the property features a range of studio-, one- and two-bedroom floor plans averaging 894 square feet and 15 loft-style one-bedroom live/work street-level units.

Rally House has opened a new location at Rally House Southridge Mall in Greendale, Wisconsin. Rally House Southridge Mall is the company’s third storefront in the Milwaukee metro and fourth store location in Wisconsin.

In October of 2023, Rally House opened their first storefront location in the state of Wisconsin in Wauwatosa with Rally House Mayfair Collection. “Wisconsinites are loyal and passionate sports fans,” says Aaron Johnson, VP of Marketing Strategy. “Rally House Southridge Mall is a short drive from American Family Field and Fiserv Forum, and ready to serve the communities south of downtown.”

Rally House has been rapidly expanding its footprint across several states, and earlier this year, it opened its ninth location in Chicago. Based in Lenexa, Kansas, Rally House and Sampler Stores Inc. is a family-owned specialty boutique that offers a large selection of sports apparel, hats, gifts and home décor.

Homeless encampments under bridges in Atlanta will be cleared, with the individuals allowed to seek temporary emergency in the former Wellstar Atlanta Medical Center campus. The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports the shelter will offer individuals wrap-around services, including housing and medical care. Individuals will have a finite amount of time to stay at the shelter.

The goal is to help individuals prepare to move on to more permanent housing solutions. The shelter is not a long-term plan for the facility. The agreement Wellstar has with the city is for 180 days.

Wellstar closed Atlanta Medical Center in November 2022 and the city is still “in negotiations and conversations” with Wellstar about selling the facility to an operator who could build a smaller hospital with an emergency room and other services such as neonatal and cancer treatment. A hospital would anchor a mixed-use development with housing, doctor’s offices and other amenities.
