<p data-beyondwords-marker="d03cc796-0b9b-4704-92a4-7849c3ec6c63">Emory University is days away from opening its new heart and vascular facilities. The updated and upgraded care spaces are the result of an $87 million investment from Emory Healthcare.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="5a38f6dc-a952-414e-afb3-baf793464091">The new facilities feature a new 16-bed cardiovascular intensive care unit, a suite of new cardiovascular and thoracic operating rooms, catheterization laboratories and electrophysiology laboratories, all with innovative technology and the latest equipment.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="5961f527-6f71-44b0-ae27-61d9c2f8cd63">The facility includes a robotic room which utilizes a robot for smaller incisions with more precision. “These new heart and vascular facilities will allow us to greatly enhance patient care, grow procedural capacity and access, and continue to foster innovation and excellence across the whole service line,” says Angel Leon, MD, executive director of Emory Heart &amp; Vascular.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="e5d76b62-aeb7-4562-9bad-b704ebebb55c">Emory University Hospital has been in the process of recruiting more than 80 new staff members at the site at Emory University Hospital Tower in Atlanta’s Druid Hills neighborhood.</p>

<p>CBRE recently negotiated the sale of the Tower Office Plaza in Temecula for $13.8 million to Level Asset Capital. Matt Pourcho, Anthony DeLorenzo, Matt Harris and Bryan Johnson of CBRE’s Investment Properties represented the seller, Providence Real Estate Group.</p>
<p>“Office sales in the Temecula and Murrieta areas remain strong and are somewhat isolated from all the corporate downsizing you hear about,” said Pourcho.</p>
<p>The Class A office building at 27555 Ynez Rd. sits within Tower Plaza, a remodeled grocery-anchored retail center. In addition to the four-story 71,775-square-foot-office building, the property includes a two-story parking structure and an oversized pond water feature.</p>
<p>Hugo Cosio of Level Asset Capital represented the company in the purchase. The property is currently 94% occupied.</p>
