Century Farms is adding a Drury Plaza Hotel to its more than 300-acre campus. The hotel will rise seven stories and offer 180 rooms. Drury Development Corporation is leading the development of Century Farms’ latest hospitality addition.

The building is slated for a 3.02-acre site at 3001 Century Farms Cir., which is walking distance from the recently opened Tanger Outlets mall (photo).

The Nashville Business Journal reports that Oldacre McDonald, the lead developer of Century Farms, owns the property. The Nashville-based firm paid $5.539 million for the site in 2015.

The $1 billion Antioch development has been underway for years. It spans more than 300 acres and is already home to the Tanger Mall, the Nashville SC team’s headquarters, an HCA Healthcare freestanding emergency room and medical plaza and more than 1,200 residential units.

Triumph Hospitality is planning a two-hotel development, a Hampton Inn and Home2 Suites, just a few lots over from the Drury project.

Dean Zander has joined Newmark as vice chairman, based in the Century City office. He brings more than three decades of experience in the multifamily sector throughout Southern California, closing transactions valued at more than $11.9 billion across 58,000 units over the course of his career.

Zander represents institutional and large private capital clients, including Nuveen, Blackstone, Western National Group, Sares Regis, Prudential Real Estate, Equity Residential, AvalonBay Communities, Essex Property Trust Inc., Jackson Square Properties, The Bascom Group and Davlyn Investments, among others.

Before joining Newmark, Zander held senior brokerage roles at CBRE, Berkadia and Sperry Van Ness. For nearly 25 years, he has consistently ranked among the top 5% of the most successful investment sales advisors at the brokerage firms with which he has been associated.

CBRE arranged the $4.9-million sale of a 8,450-square-foot multifamily development site in the Century City submarket of West Los Angeles to 416 Development Group, LLC, which will utilize Fox Hills Development Group, LLC as the development entity. Laurie Lustig-Bower and Kamran Paydar with CBRE’s Los Angeles Multifamily Investment Sales represented the seller, 1814 Fox Hill Drive, LLC, a Los Angeles-based private investor.

The site is located on the Northeast corner of Missouri Avenue and Fox Hills Drive at 10285 W. Missouri and 1814-1824 Fox Hills Dr. The buyer is planning to build a 20-unit apartment building.

“The site’s proximity to premier retail amenities and the Century City business district provides an ideal live-work-play environment,” said Lustig-Bower.

“Missouri-Fox Hills is a rare opportunity to acquire an infill development site in one of Los Angeles’ top residential and business locations,” Paydar added.

The property is one block from Westfield Century City, an open-air retail destination with more than 200 shops and restaurants, and within walking distance of Century City.
