<p><a href="https://www.colliers.com/en">Col</a><a href="https://www.colliers.com/en" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">l</a><a href="https://www.colliers.com/en">iers</a> announced that ROKK Solutions, a bipartisan public affairs and communications agency, has expanded its office at 2020 K Street NW in Washington, D.C.</p>
<p>Having previously leased approximately 7,440 square feet, ROKK Solutions has experienced rapid growth, and the agency has now secured 19,517 square feet of office space on the 8th floor of the building. </p>
<p>A Colliers team, led by Josh Cramer, Executive Vice President, and Alex Picciano, Vice President, facilitated the lease negotiation and assisted ROKK Solutions in securing additional financial support through the Vitality Fund offered by the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning &amp; Economic Development. The fund provided ROKK with resources that can be applied to tenant improvements, rent abatements, security deposits, and other expenses.</p>
<p>“Connecting ROKK Solutions with the Vitality Fund was a key move in securing their new headquarters space,” said Picciano. “The fund’s incentives will offer ROKK essential resources to enhance their office space and support their growing team in Washington, D.C.”</p>

<p data-beyondwords-marker="30ef785d-1a34-4c29-9544-995651bcd539"><strong>Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist</strong> has been greenlighted for a $262.8 million Greensboro Medical Center on Horse Pen Creek Road. It took a year and a half, but the N.C. Division of Health Service Regulation finally posted its approval of Atrium’s Health’s application last week. The hospital was originally slated to open in July 2026, but the opening date is now January 2029. The 36-bed hospital will be located at 2909 Horse Pen Creek Road.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="63aec508-7bab-46b4-9371-f742303190b3">The Charlotte Business Journal reports AHWFB’s Greensboro Medical Center will feature 20 emergency department bays, 12 observation beds, two operating rooms, two procedure rooms, two CT scanners, one fixed MRI scanner and other radiology and imaging equipment.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="3b169a16-16b7-4e3c-acc0-d334a14c6b25">The Greensboro Medical Center will have 152 full-time-equivalent employees at full capacity.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="39e95762-b36a-4707-a0a5-b8d7b81802a7">AHWFB is also planning to build a $30 million ambulatory surgery center at the same Horse Pen Creek site.</p>

<p data-beyondwords-marker="d8a49a9c-8b7e-4014-b797-7f82dc564cc4">The Development Authority of Fulton County voted to approve $75 million in tax savings over a 10-year period for a Microsoft data center in Union City. The project on vacant land at 4810 Stonewall Tell Road is estimated to be valued at $1.8 billion and will be built by data center developer <strong>EdgeConnex</strong>. The motion included that all three phases of the project to build the data center campus, which will include three buildings, have to be completed no later than 2032. Each building will be about 612,000 square feet. Union City is southwest of Atlanta.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="6c901275-7e7a-4826-b4ae-1652d85775c8">The data center campus will require about 400 to 600 construction jobs during development.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="74ce887a-7769-4420-aa5d-bb6e600e14a0">The tax incentives could help the developer offset the site development costs, which are estimated at around $43.5 million. Microsoft purchased 136 acres in Fulton County in April 2024 for $53.5 million.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="55bfaf2e-bc56-4b18-be16-89b69793bbd0">The data center, once up and running, will employ at least 50 permanent trades and technology personnel.</p>

<p data-beyondwords-marker="9882f4c8-e88c-4938-8a02-e24252263917">The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports the lobby would be converted into amenities for prospective residents, such as a movie theater, fitness center, business center or library.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="9266b8c1-2047-47f1-96ed-bb7f813d881a">The 3.25-acre property, located across from Georgia State University’s Convocation Center, is within walking distance of restaurants, shops and a Publix grocery store situated along Georgia Avenue. Construction is underway on MARTA’s Summerhill bus rapid transit line with a stop planned near the hotel site.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="b923a5df-edbc-499e-9dba-a64ab9744ef5"><strong>Atlanta Housing</strong> would purchase the site for $17.5 million, pending approval from its board of commissioners and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The authority entered a purchase and sale agreement with the current owner, Pellerin Real Estate Partners.</p>
<p data-beyondwords-marker="ac694de5-cd40-40be-810c-399cd7803d81">Under Atlanta Housing’s proposal, the units would be rented at affordable rates to tenants who are 55 or older. </p>
