Nashville Developer Adding 30-Story Gulch Tower

SomeraRoad is wrapping up Paseo South Gulch, a 16-story, 278-unit apartment and office building called Prima. It broke ground in February of 2022.

Now, SomeraRoad is preparing to start work on a 30-story tower at Paseo South Gulch. The tower will offer 180 hotel rooms and 139 residential units., as well as 8,000 square feet of restaurant and retail space. The proposed hotel tower located at 700 Eighth Ave. S., will rise on a 0.8-acre lot across the street from Prima.

The Nashville Business Journal reports, last year, SomeraRoad expanded project plans to include two additional towers, which will be incorporated into the greater project. Public filings indicate one residential building and one office building at the intersection of Division Street and Eighth Avenue South.

Plans for SomeraRoad’s latest tower will go before the Metro Planning Department on April 11 for approval.
