Investor JV Scoping 7-Acre Nashville Mixed-Use Project

Marquette Cos. and Origin Investments are seeking approval from a Nashville planning agency on a mixed-use development at 1000 Hawkins St., the former site of a Beaman car dealership property.

North Edgehill Commons will include five buildings, two eight-stories and three five-stories.

Plans for the nearly 7-acre development incorporate over 700 residential units, including studios, one—and two-bedroom apartments and 26 townhomes. The project will also offer 35,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space.

Nashville-based Thomas & Hutton is the project’s lead engineer, and Atlanta-based Dynamik Design is providing the architectural plans.

The Nashville Business Journal reports that Marquette Cos. paid $42.32 million for the 6.79-acre site in 2021. On July 25, the Marquette Cos. and Origin project will seek approval from the Metro Planning Department.
