3 Southhaven Projects Moving Forward

McNeill Commercial Real Estate is making progress on three mostly residential projects at Silo Square in Southhaven, just across Tennessee’s southern border near Memphis.

The Provost will have 92 loft units. The building is a W-shaped, three-story structure designed very much in the vein of Thornwood. It sits just south of Silo Square. The Provost will have two retail bays, totaling 6,676 square feet. The Provost will also feature 26 townhomes lining the southwest corner of the development. That element will likely break ground in February.

The Hylander comprises twin four-story buildings connected by a pedestrian sky bridge. The Hylander is expected to start work after The Provost is completed this spring. The project will feature 162 lofts, some with outdoor balconies, ground-floor commercial, restaurant, office space, and garage parking.

The Memphis Business Journal reports the DeSoto District is in much earlier stages than the other two, but the developer is looking at more lofts, commercial, restaurant, office and retail space.
